In progress: Music Studio “Sidecar” build.

A design I finished assembly of recently. I am going to live with the layout for a few months to see if it needs tweaks before deciding on a wood finish.

One option I am considering, is a Tweed Tolex wrap to emulate the look of a vintage guitar amp.

Industrial Fan Testing Rig:

I was tasked with housing some simple fans to aid our automation team in qualifying some optical sensors. Balance and maneuverability were critical as this jig would be handled a lot.

Since I had access to the machinery needed, I designed, water jet, bent and assembled this one myself.

Industrial Fixture Component Stand:

I had produced some of the accessory components to my fixturing system (shown in the back in black-oxide coated 4130) and I wanted to make a nice rack to house and transport them between workstations.

This one was a bit of pet project and personal challenge to nail the interlocking sheet metal components that are held together only by some pop rivets on either end.

Our sheet metal fab equipment was busy this week so I had to nail the design since I ordered these pre-bent from SendCutSend.

Thankfully I did, as these Stands assembled very easily.
